Culture Wars

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Rom 12.2

I do a somewhat weekly podcast called culture wars. I got the idea for this podcast one night while praying and meditating on this verse "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Rom 12.2". When I originally got the idea I did not know it was going to be turned into a podcast, I just knew that my church needed to have an apologetics ministry to defend and advance our Biblical worldview and way of life against an increasingly Godless culture. The content of the podcast covers where our Biblical worldview intersects with the real world. It is not merely esoteric as James states "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. James 2.26" if our faith isn't being lived out in a way that it has some effect on the external world is it really a saving faith? The culture covers many things theology and primarily politics the reason is as were at war with this Godless world system. Were fighting a war of worldviews "We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ," 2 Corinthians 10.5 this war of worldviews or speculations is primarily fought in the arena of politics. You can listen to it on Itunes just type in culture wars on apple podcasts. Please subscribe to it and leave a 5 star review. You can also listen to it on this site on the page titled culture wars.
